First and foremost, our sincere prayers go to our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji, whose grace made us conceive the project to start chinmaya vidyalaya in Nagapattinam district.

The Seed was sown on 04.01.1997 and it quickly came to function on 01.06.1997. We started Chinmaya Vidyalaya CBSE in Nagapattinam with a vision to make it a pioneer in the field of education. We aim to provide this district with the most powerful resource of “Knowledge” is driven by our hard work, perseverance, integrity and sincerity.

It is cumulative effort of many minds working together day and night that gave us the contentment. Studying in Chinmaya Vidyalaya is a life changing of completing the task experience.

Our students may become academics pushing at the global frontiers of research and teaching or leaders in either professional or public service or in enterprise for which their schooling has equipped them with essential skills and values of life.
